We’re partnering with a long-established engineering and manufacturing business to find a talented Process & Quality Engineer to join their growing team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys improving systems, streamlining processes, and ensuring quality standards are not just met, but consistently exceeded. You’ll be supporting multiple areas of the business including Production, Quality, Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Training, helping to deliver practical, commercially viable solutions to technical challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and implementing business processes and quality standards across core operational areas.
- Supporting and maintaining the company’s Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS) and Business Management System (BMS).
- Designing and developing products, tooling, fixtures, test rigs, and associated equipment.
- Carrying out quality assurance activities including supplier audits, inspections, testing, and process monitoring.
- Producing and maintaining SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality documentation.
- Supporting new projects and contract fulfilment with documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Promoting continuous improvement, process efficiency, and staff development across the business.
- Maintaining and developing competence in company systems including Epicor E10.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree (or equivalent) in Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of ISO, IATF, and APQP quality and environmental standards.
- Experience in quality management, process improvement, or project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Audit experience or willingness to work towards a recognised Audit Qualification.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for engineering excellence.
